DIMESTORE GYPSY comes to you from Greenville, South
Carolina and is pure 100 proof gritty rock n roll. Hard rock
and blues bands from the 60’s and 70’s
heavily influence the band’s music.
DIMESTORE GYPSY is a collaboration of 3 seasoned musicians who came together out of coincidental jam sessions. At the bands inception, the idea was to create the feel and sound of the classic power trio (ala Cream, Jimi Hendrix Experience, ZZ Top etc.) but, with the energy of a stadium rock show.

DIMESTORE GYPSY can best be described as Classic Rock and blues
with a Southern Flavor and a modern edge. They combine high-energy guitar driven songs with soulful melodies and flare that can’t be matched. All 3 members of the band have extensive experience on stage and doing
studio session work. While the band is proud of their original material, they strive to provide a list of cover songs that isn’t played by every other band week in and week out.

Robbie Chambers on Guitar and Vocals,
Jeff Cheek on Bass and Vocals
Mick Lockaby on Drums and Vocals

In addition to booking shows for this
year they are also writing and recording new material for
their debut album, and laying the foundation for a massive
following using Twitter and Facebook among other social
media. Dimestore Gypsy is a band that is making a noise
on the southeastern music scene. Making rock n roll the old
fashioned way……with drums and guitars!!!
